Snakes and Rusty Cars!!!
We did a shoot out in Nelson Nevada last Wednesday and it was a blast. We were shooting video and photo, but were lucky to get anything! The weather was horrible and it seems as if the rain had let up just to let us shoot for 6 hours. The second we went inside the barn and started to shoot the indoor stuff, the skies opened up and unloaded what a weatherman would call a “torrential down pour”. We were incredibly lucky that all of our gear was in the barn at that point!!
The great thing about Nelson is that it is about 30 minutes out of town and has some of the greatest grungy backdrops for pictures. Plus the couple that owns the land and all of it’s unique objects and structures is really cool. They have a cat named “17″ and he’s had 16 predecessors that have been killed by snakes, coyotes or whatever lurks in the night in Nelson. Anyways, check out some of our pics from the shoot. The anvil one is my favorite, we did it as a joke as we were sitting around waiting to get the next area of video ready to shoot.
