The Neon Museum – Boneyard in Las Vegas: Engagement Photos

If you’re getting married in Las Vegas, then you might want to consider having an engagement photography session done.  It is popular these days for newly engaged couples to have engagement photos done, especially in Las Vegas.  The sign boneyard and Neon Museum in Vegas are popular spots, among others like the general downtown area and Fremont Street Experience.  These places offer great spots to have your engagement photographs shot.

Neon Museum - Sign Boneyard: Las VegasNot all of them are free though.  While you can just walk down the Fremont Street Experience to have your engagement-wedding photos taken, you can’t do so at the Boneyard.  The bone yard only allows approved photography studios to do shoots on-site.  Furthermore, the entrance free ranges from $150-200 in addition to your photography costs.  However, many couples feel this is a worthwhile expenditure and are choosing that route.

The Las Vegas boneyard has appeared in many movies, such as “Mars Attacks” to name one of them.  If you’ve never seen the Neon Museum or Boneyard, it is a collection of various neon signs from many of the casinos that once graced that streets of Vegas.  Places like the Silver Slipper, Caesars Palace, Golden Nugget and the Stardust among many others.  It is a unique and fun location to have your Las Vegas engagement photography done.

I remember seeing that scene in Mars Attacks. I didn’t know it was a museum open to the public though. Very cool! I wonder if the have any relics or displays from the movie?

I suppose it would be a pretty neat place for couples to have their engagement photos taken. The ones I saw in the gallery were certainly nice. I guess engagement photography is the trend these days!? Maybe it is a Las Vegas thing?

If I ever get married again, I’ll certainly plan on a Las Vegas wedding.

  • Thanks for posting all the photos! I love the way you capture their personalities and chemistry in a very natural way. Well done!
